The Iowa Prescription Drug Corporation (IPDC), an Iowa-based, not-for-profit organization launced a medication discount card targeting patients who are uninsured or underinsured preventing access to the medications they need. This program was developed in conjuntion with the Iowa Collaborative Safety Net Provider Network and MedOne healthcare systems.

One card may be utilized for a whole family. There is no fee to patients for this card and no age or income requirements.

IPDC has worked diligently to ensure the maximum discount for patients while ensuring that the community pharmacies are receiving a competitive dispensing fee.
